The material is "quick dry" and perfect for everyday use and holidays. I normally use size 3XL, but I ordered size 5XL (since it's asian sizes...) and they fit perfectly! Hint: The shorts are perfect as they are, but are you going to use them in all weather, they'll benefit with a (FC free) DWR treatment (water and dirt resistant) on a yearly basis! These shorts are highly recommended - best shorts ever! Sorry about the creases in the shorts... They were just unpacked!
